The Problem
The physical art market is highly fragmented and lacks transparency. Pricing is often subjective, data is scattered across multiple auction platforms, and buyers have limited access to reliable valuation tools. This makes it difficult for collectors and investors to determine whether an artwork is fairly priced or a good investment, while liquidity and resale potential remain unclear.
The Solution
OrionX solves this by aggregating auction data and transforming it into structured insights using AI-assisted analytics. The platform provides estimated price ranges, historical performance trends, liquidity scores, and ROI simulations, helping users make informed decisions. It also introduces a buyer–seller intent system that enables data-driven deal matching, bringing efficiency and transparency to art transactions.

About this project
OrionX is a simple but powerful platform that helps people understand the real value of physical art. In today’s art market, prices are often unclear, data is scattered, and buyers usually rely on guesswork or trust. OrionX solves this problem by turning real auction data into clear insights that anyone can understand.
Instead of asking “Is this artwork worth it?”, users can come to OrionX and instantly see estimated price ranges, market trends, and how easy it might be to sell that artwork later. The goal is to make art buying and investing feel more like data driven decisions, not blind guesses.
The platform collects past auction data and processes it to show useful information like average prices, price growth over time, and demand trends. It also includes an AI layer that explains everything in simple language, so even beginners can understand what’s happening in the market.
OrionX is not just about analysis it also helps connect people. Users can submit what kind of artwork they want to buy (based on artist, budget, etc.), and the platform can match them with possible opportunities. This creates a smarter and more structured way to discover and make deals in the art world.
The design of OrionX is clean and minimal, with a soft dusty white background and black/gray text for easy reading. Important actions and highlights use a subtle gradient inspired by the brand logo, giving the platform a modern and slightly futuristic feel without being overwhelming. The overall experience feels more like a premium financial dashboard than a typical art website.
From a tech perspective, OrionX is built using modern tools like Next.js, Tailwind CSS, MongoDB, and OpenRouter. The system is designed to be fast, scalable, and easy to expand in the future. While the current version focuses on strong data and simple analytics, it can grow into a more advanced platform with deeper AI models and Web3 features like on-chain deal records or token-based access.
In short, OrionX makes the art market easier to understand by combining data, AI, and a clean user experience. It helps users make smarter decisions, avoid overpaying, and discover better opportunities all in one place.
